Why not, they did it to Mario Kart Wii, and the Check Mii Out Channel so why not for Super Mario Maker?

When I saw the trailer for this game when I was 11, my jaw dropped at how stupid it was. I only got this catastrophe of a game because I was excited to make my own Mario levels (I hadn't heard of Super Mario Flash).
Super Mario Maker 2 is a HUGE improvement and is one of my favorite games of all time. It's what Mario Maker should have been from the very beginning.
Also, Super Mario Maker 2 could have been released in 2006 for the Nintendo Wii with no limitations whatsoever.

This can be used in many situations, such as a player killing you with a shell, or the level being too short.
"So close!" is another good one that's not in the game.
I understand why there's messages instead of voice chat (probably language differences), but I think there should be more. And you should be able to send 12 different messages in one game, not just 9.
Mine is either fireballs or falling goombas / green koopas.

Anyone have any idea what's the slowest moving object on tracks for both SMM1 and SMM2?
I've attached the heartbeat music to Mario so the whole level is just that, a heartbeat. Now, there's a boss level whose screen size is maybe two screens wide and tall. I've attached Bowser's music to the door so that when Mario goes through, it activates the music.
However, when I'm about 15 squares away, it defaults back to the hearbeat. I've also tried spreading a few Bowser music blocks (10?) spread around in the big room, and the music either stop after a little bit when moving about, and/or resets, which is really annoying.
Is there anyway to get around this problem? I want the Bowser music playing until the player leaves the room. I've tried attaching it to a one-up mushroom which the players is forced to get, attaching it to an enemy, etc. But no luck.
